Purbeck U3A Science & Technology group has indoor meetings once a month in the Main
Hall at Harman’s Cross Village Halls -
Parking at Harman’s Cross is FREE for U3A Members.
Our regular meetings, which start at 10:00am and end at midday, are held on the Third Wednesday of each month.
We request that you aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the advertised presentation start time in order that entrance formalities can be completed by all members in time without delaying the start of the talk itself, usually at about 10:20.
There is a small entrance charge (currently £2.00) to cover refreshments which are available from 09:50 until the start of the presentation at 10:20. Adhesive name labels are usually provided and may be collected at the time of signing in. You may be asked to give your current Purbeck U3A Membership Number on arrival.
From time to time, and especially in the summer months, visits are arranged to local places of scientific or technological interest. These visits incur extra charges which will be notified beforehand.
